SCOHS Nursing Honor Society

Knowledge, Scholarship, Service, Learning...
These words personify the nursing profession and characterize the registered nurses who take on the challenges of today's complex health care environment.  Sentara College of Health Sciences Nursing Honor Society has been established, and is now actively seeking nurse leader members who will help create an environment that will support the values of professional nursing - knowledge, scholarship, service and learning.
We seek within our registered nurse population those nursing leaders who can help make a difference in our community, using their knowledge, experience, and caring attitudes to make a difference in the health of our communities.  We strive for a collaborative spirit between nursing professionals, nursing students, and the communities where we practice the art and science of nursing. We invite you to join us in our journey as we develop and grow into an honor society that epitomizes all that you value in nursing.
Current STTI Members:  If you are already a member of the The Honor Society of Nursing, Sigma Theta Tau International, you may become a member by paying the $26.00 annual dues.  Visit the website below and click the "Prospective Member" tab, then follow the link to "What are the eligibility criteria to become a Nurse Leader member?".
