Academic Planning and Information Sessions are designed for you to learn more about the College and the Program or Course of interest. You may have your transcripts reviewed and an Academic Plan created to help reach your educational goals.

We offer an Allied Health Session and Nursing Sessions at our Chesapeake campus for all Programs and Courses. We offer monthly Academic Planning and Information Sessions in Hampton for the Registered Nursing Learning Site at the Sentara CarePlex Hospital.

To ensure you get the most out of the session be prepared to:

• Refer to the appropriate session below that fits your interests.
• Arrive on time.
• No appointment necessary.
• Submit transcripts for review, if applicable.
• Review information about the College beforehand so you can ask pertinent questions.
• Complete an application, if applicable.
• Be prepared to stay for up to two hours for the Traditional BSN/LPN to BSN sesssion; one hour for the Allied Health or RN to BSN sessions.  Combined nursing sessions in the evenings can last up to one and a half to two hours.
