If you are seeking admission to the Nursing Program you must test in order to be considered for acceptance.

Your success is important to us so we recommend preparing for the test:

• Purchase a study manual: Visit www.atitesting.com to purchase.  Version 4 is the TEAS study guide materials you will want to purchase.
• The study manual is written specifically to address the needs of students preparing to take the TEAS or those who need additional help after testing.  The TEAS Study Manual includes review material for key topics in Reading, Mathematics, Science, and English and Language Usage.  Practice exercises and sample tests are provided following the review material for each section.  
• TEAS Online Practice Assessment is available for students desiring additional test preparation material.  The online practice assessment includes 100 items designed to be reflective of the TEAS in both content and format.  In order to maximize the learning experience, eath item is accompanied by detailed rationales for all correct and incorrect responses chosen.

• We provide testing for the Nursing Program at the Chesapeake Campus. The Registered Nursing Learning Site testing is offered at the Sentara CarePlex Hospital in Hampton.
• There are two attempts during the testing period for TEAS testing.
• Students will not be permitted to use calculators.
• Testing periods will be posted under Nursing Preadmission Testing.
• Please register as a user at www.atitesting.com before taking the test at the College.
• Other reference materials to study for the TEAS may be purchased at www.mbsdirect.net under our College of Health Sciences account.
• Career Assessment Inventory (CAI)-no preparation is required.
