Enrollment at the College

After Acceptance and Prior to the Start of Classes:

  • Your non-refundable class deposit is due upon acceptance to hold your space in class.
  • If your class deposit is not received by the date in your acceptance letter, your space in the class will not be held.
    • Deposit for Programs $100.00
    • Deposit for Courses $50.00
  • Ensure all official transcripts, if applicable, are submitted to the College by the deadlines published.
  • You will receive a Mandatory Registration letter that includes instructions and directives that must be completed before the start of your Program or Course. Ensure you complete all directives on time or you will be withdrawn from class. Books, uniform, and supply information will be distributed at Registration.
    • Current BLS Certification.
    • Heath Record Requirements.  All individuals who attend clinical in Sentara facilities will be required to obtain a flu shot - the only exemptions will be for documented medical or religious reasons.  If the exemption is accepted, then the individual will have to wear a mask the entire time they are in clinical.  External clinicals outside of Sentara Healthcare will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

    • Orientation - You will receive a Mandatory Orientation date at Registration.
